The copper wire wrapped bars encourage salivation to keep the horse’s mouth soft. A sweet iron lifesaver mouthpiece center applies some tongue pressure with rein use. The addition of a curb chain to this bit can help increase speed, rating, and stop. (Please note: sweet iron is designed to rust)
